What this diagram shows
The male reproductive system produces sperm and delivers semen. Testes in the scrotum need a temperature lower than body temperature for sperm formation. Accessory glands add fluids, and urethra is the common exit pathway.

1 Testis
Testes produce sperm and the male hormone testosterone. Sperm production needs slightly lower temperature than the abdomen. Testosterone supports male puberty characters.
2 Scrotum
The scrotum is the pouch that holds testes outside the abdominal cavity. This position helps maintain the required lower temperature. Mention this reason whenever location of testes is asked.
3 Vas deferens
The vas deferens carries sperm from testes toward the urethra. Surgical contraception (vasectomy) blocks this tube. It is a transport duct, not the sperm-producing organ.
4 Glands
Glands such as seminal vesicles and prostate add fluids to sperm. The mixture is called semen and helps sperm movement and nutrition. Fluid volume is much greater than sperm volume alone.
5 Urethra / penis
Urethra carries semen through the penis during ejaculation and also carries urine at other times. The penis delivers semen into the female reproductive tract. Keep functions clear in labelling answers.
